I Don’t Want To Be A Baby Mama - Mercy Eke

Mercy Eke expresses her reluctance to assume the role of a single mother.

Mercy Eke, a Big Brother Naija All-Stars contestant, has revealed her desire to start a family while highlighting her reluctance to play the position of a “Baby Mama.” Mercy Eke discussed how she dealt with emotions of isolation in an interview with media personality Hero Daniels.

It’s critical to understand the value of obtaining support and care from someone who continuously exhibits concern and actively works to guarantee one’s well-being while aiming to be a successful female leader. Someone who will be there for you always, someone who will do good deeds for you.

I believe that right now; I am ready to build a steady and long-term lifestyle. I’m ready to go on the process of creating a family. I am prepared to start the parenting path. Without being married or being in a committed relationship, I have no interest in having children. I would have sought out such a situation if I had wanted it. I do not, however, want to disparage or denigrate those who are frequently referred to as “baby mums.” Prior to establishing a family, I personally preferred to join the institution of marriage since it is consistent with the principles I was raised with as a Christian.

Despite wanting a spouse, the person acknowledged their present preference for prioritizing children over marriage. They expressed a strong desire for a child, showing that they were more prepared for this duty than for getting married.

Along with my mother and siblings, I worked in agriculture. People would buy property in this way and give it to us for agricultural use, but I’ve never had the desire to look for mercy. The contestant who won BBNaija Season 7 said, “I have completed a wide range of tasks, and I am now beginning to reap the rewards of my diligent efforts.”

Mercy highlighted her ambition when asked about her future goals, but she also mentioned that she frequently receives criticism for wanting to be more successful, since some people think her goals are extravagant or avaricious.

Mercy voiced her displeasure with the BBNaija All-Stars edition while sobbing throughout the interview. Mercy was visibly upset. She received an overwhelming amount of unfavorable feedback while sharing a room with two prior champions as if her desire for greater accomplishments was seen as immoral.
